Oh no, not at all. That made me laugh, Echo would've had no idea of language barriers since last time he was with spooks, there were none.

Totally true, I just didn't really know how big the ship's interior would be.
Whisper's not physically strong outside the PA.
In it she can haul around missiles, but outside the PA, @ 300lbs apiece they are just too cumbersome for her.
I figured she would be on overall guard duty.

Fair enough.

As it is now .. Unless I missed something in the IC posts .. It looks like .. no one is doing the missile re-loading .. and it doesn't look like Lahz will have a 3rd assistant for repairs either (just Lahz, Ray, Erg).

And if Lahz also does his class ability to Mentally Link with the vehicle .. He'll get even another +10% on the skill rolls .. And the vehicle he pilots and is linked with also can go 10% faster .. RWB12-p.75
Puts Lahz up to 106% Skill and a bonus 10% to the vehicle's speed.
vs Erg still at 94%

Not a rift exactly, there will be a 'dimensional disruption' with regards to Morogot's reach into this world, and a huge amount of energy being accumulated.

Yup , I 100% agree that is perfectly IC , and makes perfect sense from Lahz' point of view. :)

OOC :
You got one .. the indirectness of the call lightning is a nice perk .. to help reduce the enemies ability to know where it's source (Erg) is coming from .. nothing about the lightning coming down from the sky tells them anything at all about where he is .. and with the nexus it is the longest range weapon he has .. thanks to Nexus Erg can be up to 900ft away from his target .. and lightning in a storm isn't all that odd .. just the extreme power of it and the accuracy at which it its the enemy perhaps would be a little suspicious.

The 2nd boon of that particular spell .. in this case , thanks to the nexus .. it is also the highest rate of damage Erg can yet do .. perhaps , still on the bottom of the spook damage dishing scale .. but at least with the nexus it's up to 18d6 per lightning bolt .. instead of things like Erg's Laser pistol at only 2d4MD.

The 3rd .. is that .. The Energy Field Erg is using as a sphere of protection around himself .. might block most types of more direct attacks anyway .. if say Erg tried to shoot at them with his Laser Pistol .. the laser might just impact on Erg's own Energy Field Sphere around himself .. he needed a more indirect form of attack .. Call Lightning coming down from the storm clouds , was a perfect fit for that .. and works well as a combination with the energy field protection sphere.

With a Nexus handy, Erg isn't bad on the Spooks damage scale. Lahz's PA needs missile volleys to get to that Call Lightning damage.

Both of us should look ok for augmentation next mission though hehe

SANFU is in the tracker with major computer troubles .. This is the likely cause of the ~2week delay sense last GM post.

Is there a period of time we as a group want to wait for SNAFU before tapping our AGM (Ace of Spades) to temp ?

I am really tempted to dual class as a gunslinger, but I haven't talked to SNAFU about it and I'm not sure it's the right way to go. It would give Whisper something interesting outside of her power armor. I could maybe increase her PP a bit. What do you lot think?

I think it could be interesting combination inside the right type of power armor .. one that would let you capitalize on it.

I say go for it, remember, if we pull off this mission, our reward is from a god. If you want, see if you can work something out with SNAFU that your reward goes in line to achieve your goal. :)

Thanks .. and .. Ditto / Like wise , Lahz to use them for tinkering too .. take turns or such.

Likewise .. if/when Erg survives this mission .. and if/when we get godly rewards .. and if/when Erg finishes the tinkering time dilation chamber based on that 'time hole' spell .. Lahz is also welcome to use it for tinkering as well .. soo he to can get 6 hours of tinkering work done inside for every 1 hour of 'normal' time that passes for everyone else outside.

The time thing was the big reason for the ring of ages .. There aren't many ways / things that would allow Erg to extend how long he will live for .. and as just a human , he doesn't have a crazy long life time .. and once the time dilation chamber is completed , I expect it will greatly help with tinker time , so Erg can do more Techno-Wizardy and such .. but I acknowledge that will also burn up is shorter human life span even faster .. that ring is a nice solution to that.

Both a return to Tolkeen and an adventure in Phase World/the Three Galaxies are likely to put Vheld in the spotlight again, by virtue of his background. So I have a mild preference against either of those, so that someone else can have the spotlight. If you've developed your own setting in Orbit SNAFU, that sounds the most interesting to me (and with no ley lines handy, Vheld will need to cool his jets).
Why kill a PC when you can torture them?

My two cents.

Three Galaxies: It would be pretty sweet to see a part of the Three Galaxies other than Phase World. Perhaps an accident with a Dimension Door or something drops us in the Trans-Galactic Empire and we need to find a way back, with some other reason why we can't simply use a door to return.

Rifts Orbit: Awesome idea and I think it'd be really interesting either way.

Canada: Echo is from Canada, has done contracts for numerous personalities in the major cities of Canada. Could be a plot hook for him there.

Tolkeen, Echo would be less able to showcase his abilities in an area where magic trumps all. Tolkeen would be fun, but a backburner for a couple campaigns in my opinion.

Glitterboy Heist, I'm not super into but France sounds cool.
Tolkeen would be awesome .
Space? Nah.
D-Tripping. So long as we're able to keep it to a reasonable length, dimensional travel sounds cool.
To Kill The Master. That sounds heavy and awesome, but maybe for the adventure after this next one?
