I created a new player account for a new character I'm making named John and I have not received the account activation email. I've checked spam folders, etc and went through the resend process on the login screen and nada. Account name John and I'm using a gmail email address if that matters.

Actually now that I look at it I haven't gotten any emails from the site today. I've gotten several PMs and there is chatter on various threads I'm subscribed to and the last email I got from the site was on May 30.

Sorry - I didn't see your post, till you PM'd me. It should be taken care of, just log in.

I'll take a look at why GMail is not accepting e-mails from EU.

It probably has something to do with how the authentication to a true e-mail server is now required for a lot of E-Mail providers. This cuts down on Spam from automated e-mail systems.

I can't access the Eurasia thread in the GM Guild. I'm not sure why or if there is a way for me to fix it.
The Aether flowed, corded and angry, giving the night a blue, marbled glow. After the storm, the calm skies had only held for a day. Now there was little difference between day and night anymore. Days were darkened by clouds and the blue cast of Aether. Nights were brightened by the same. They flowed together, the edges blurring into an endless day. An ever night.

a slight modification was done to the die roller code here on EU. If you see any issues on pages, please let me know if anything is broken.

What was changed was a small presentation change of how the die rolls look. You will notice that there is no longer a 'Period' at the end of each die rolls

1d20+10 = 21

I blame VV, he found something that when I initially added the die roller, I missed. Then when he went back through some logs of getting the die roller on EU to work properly for Savage Rifts, I found that pesky period.

There has been some strange posts popping up the last few days here on EU. Russian, Spammers, etc... They apparently are using the Netherlands as a proxy IP from wherever they may be. So I have updated some of the Spambot Security measures.

I have a feeling though, that these are people and not bots. As some of the questions really focus on Palladium Games and properties. But you never know.

I can't access the administrator control panel from my phone (using either the mobile-friendly or full board skins). I get the usual login prompt, followed by the usual page with a link to redirect me. Clicking that just takes me back to the login screen though. By no means urgent, but I increasingly use my phone for EU, and it would be nice if this could be fixed whenever is convenient.
Why kill a PC when you can torture them?

What type of phone are you using? OS Version as well.

This is admittedly a bit nitpicky but is it possible to remove the whitespace automatically inserted after the OOC comment? For example if you look at this post it would be great if there was no blank line below all invocations level 1-5 in the spell section. My OCD and I would thank you.

The answer to this request: It can probably be done. It would take a long time to hunt down the specific code, in order to make that change.

If you can live with it, I rather not mess with the code. If you can't, I'll dive deeper in. I do feel you plight concerning this though.

I'm sure I can but I have an idea. If you would point me to the source code for whatever package you installed I could try to find the offending line myself and let you know where it's at. Once upon a time I was pretty decent at reading code.

We are on phpbb3.0.11 3.0.14 for Savage Rifts (which admittingly, I should update EU to, but it would break Lucid Red... and I like that Theme.)

Edit, I have a feeling with how CSS parses the <div> line

Okay - I think I figured out the Avatar permission. Please try it again DL
There is also an issue with the Date/Time stamp. That looks like it is fixed as well.

    Things to do (In no particular order):
  1. Migrate the Image Repository
  2. Set up virtual hosting, so I can move the DNS names
  3. Move the DNS names
  4. Configure webmail?
  5. Setup Subdomain "Nexus.SavageRifts.com"
  6. Migrate the Databases from Old Domain to new servers
  7. Shut down old webhosting.
