The squad operates under the auspices of General Kashbrook. It is part of a larger set of special squads that specialize in taking down vampires and magical threats.

Squad: Gear: Additionally every member is armed with a P-90 SMG with silver ammo, plus a silver vibro-knife. Only the PA pilots and cyborg are not.
Cpl Silas Yune, Male Psi-Stalker; bit more savage than most commanders like, but he's a very effective undead hunter and his dogboys love him. Loves being in melee; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 45 (CS Psi-Stalker), has a Naruni forcefield installed on his body armor.
Daisy 85BC, Female Psi-Hound Bloodhound Sniffer; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 42 (Dogboy Entry)
Duke 2E4F, Male Doberman Kill Hound; Savage and brutal, he constantly is trying to find some way of violating the enemy, as well as brutally murder them; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 42 (Dogboy Entry) - except he uses a C-40R as a heavy weapon instead, with mission specific ammo.
Countess B290, Female Pitbull NTSET trooper, originally from Lone Star City ISS; Loves working with humans, can't stand Duke or PFC Gomez; Because of this both pick on her - they only get away with it because of their special circumstances (one is much stronger than her, the other is technically a human - technically) ; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 42 (Dogboy Entry)
Cpl Janice Owens, CS Scout Sniper from CS Missouri; Laconic and unsure of herself dealing with officers and POGs (persons other than grunts). When around other grunts, she comes alive and takes nothing and gives back everything; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 46 (CS Ranger)
PFC Juan Gomez, Psi-Nullifier from Lone Star City, but trained by Psi-Bat in Chi-Town. Loves screwing with other psychics, especially making them unable to do even the most basic of things, and then taunting them telepathically, all the while being protected from their abilities; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 47 (RPA Elite/SAMAS Pilot). He pilots a modified PA-06A SAMAS with a Naruni Forcefield installed.
Sgt Eric Knox, Full Conversion Cyborg with jet nodes, four arms, psi-dampers, and silver plated vibro-claws. Loves to get in the thick of it with vampires and magic users; Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 39 (CS Cyborg Strike Trooper) - uses a C-40R Railgun as a general rule, with mission specific ammo.
Lt. Kira Markham, a tough as nails CS Commando from Psi-Battalion leads the squad. She has no patience for some of the personalities under her command, and they all know it. None of them, except Duke (who is arguably too stupid to know better), manage to stay on her bad side. Her punishments tend to be creative and horrific. Only Gomez and Duke have had to be punished more than once. Everyone in the squad fears her. Gear as per Seige on Tolkeen Book 2, page 48 (Special Forces Trooper, with Striker SAMAS with Naruni force field installed)

The squad is inserted via a Northern Gun flying APC into the vicinity. Using nondescript hovercycles, Owens and Markham make contact with Tesla, who has operational command. She rides out with them to their base and is advised of the assets at their command. Everyone's gear has the same red demon style paint job as the 110th's vehicle. But underneath this facade is 100% standard gear - with the additions of silver blades and spikes on joints, Everyone carries 6 wooden stakes and a mallet.

The assets for the assault are: A NG Hover APC with the primary hold converted into a water tank with high pressure water cannon - meant for fighting vampires (but it can hold its own against other troops too); a squad of four Super Sams modified with silver blades; and a NG Hover APC to bring them all home after the operation. The legwork provided by the 110th gives them a clear idea of the surroundings. Tesla indicates she has additional information about the law, suggesting they are victims of mind control, not willing participants. She helped break the sherrif free of his control and he now acts as an informant. The psi-Nullifier goes with Tesla to a meeting with him, and confirms he is indeed free of mind control. Tesla is given assault gear to make her seem like one of the squad.

Timeline of overall Events - June 1 and June 2
June 1, 1300: UDE Squad arrives, makes contact with Tesla
June 1, 1900: UDE Squad and Tesla make contact with Sheriff; verify his intentions and allegiance to the town, promise to be mindful of the casualties (which in the end promises nothing).
June 2, 0400: UDE Squad prepares for assault, prepositioning assets. Sheriff pulls certain vehicles back to town with bogus maintenance requests.
Timeline of Assault Events: Date - June 2
0530: Owens, Yune, Countess and Daisy infiltrate and open up the fence, and plant timed explosives on the radar installation. Markham detonates them as she gives the word for everyone to advance.
0531: Squad quickly takes out perimeter turrets and calls in fire support.
0532: Support squads arrive and lay down covering fire, destroying several vehicles in the process. UDE Squad and Tesla continues into caves to engage enemy. Encounter vampires, but the practiced vampire hunters take them down quickly.
0535: Super Sam squad frees all fifteen prisoners and take them to a holding area. One vampire who was hiding among them is destroyed as it comes into the sun. UDE Squad continues taking down the vampires. Encounters and destroys a total of 15 vampires.
0536: UDE Squad engages Necromancer, the Sherrif's son, a local ley line walker, one juicer, and a brodkil.
0539: After a brutal fight, Countess and Duke are in critical condition (both missing limbs from their fight with the brodkil and the necromancer). All armor is no better than 25% viable. Gomez's SAMAS can no longer fly (wing/jet pack ripped off).
0545: All tangos dead, and the entire tunnel complex is imploded in on itself. All prisoners and the Deputy are taken back for deprogramming and debrief. Deputy taken down non-lethally by Tesla.
0630: Tesla turns in assault gear and maintains her post in town. UDE leaves area of operation after scouring assault site. Sheriff managed to get all known mind controlled agents to the site, and the honest ones out the night before. He also kept them away from the site.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It looked like a deformed brick, but the Northern Gun Skybunker could actually fly. Of course, it was slow and clumsy. But the valuable part wasn’t the APC, it was the squad of heavily armed Special Forces soldiers inside. As the APC descends to the hard packed desert, 30 miles out of the tiny hamlet of Gallup, it discharges it’s cargo.

Red armored Coalition troopers leap out of the cargo hold and hit the ground running, Immediately each one snaps into place taking up defensive positions around the hovering transport. They are a frightening bunch, made even more ominous when surrounded by the jet wash and blowing sand from the APC.

At some unheard signal, the hovering APC turns and lumbers out of view, gaining altitude as it leaves. It dwindles in size, but the desert air is clear and cloudless. The APC is a speck, but a speck visible for many minutes before perspective swallows it from sight. None of the troopers on the ground care.

They have a very specific job.

They are vampire hunters, a Coalition Undead Exterminator Squad under General Kashbrook. Known for their lethality and brutal effectiveness against the undead, these troopers are called in when things are very very bad.

_

Three dog shape troopers prowl around the landing site, ears twitching and snouts constantly on the move. Psi-Hounds or dog boys are the scouts and front line psychic warriors.

A dust cloud appears to the south of their position. Two of the dog boys – a hulking beast looking more like a monster than a dog and a smaller stocky almost round canine shape – bound off into the desert towards the approaching bogey. The third canine trooper sits back on its haunches and stares out across the dessert then looks back towards the landing site.

Opening up on the radio net, she asks, “Sir, we have a person claiming to be Captain Taveres of the 110th SOG. We confirm psychic abilities. She is requesting permission to join the radio net and talk to you. How do you want us to proceed?”

“Allow the Captain to pass. Daisy, head 5 klicks south and make sure the Captain wasn’t followed. Duke, Countess, return to position.” Lieutenant Kira Markham barks out to her minions, her harsh tone only slightly distorted over the radio. She brings her Striker SAMAS down, landing right in front of the oncoming hovercycle. She snarls inside her helmet, feeling disdain for a supposed SOG captain who can’t handle a nest of vampires. “I guess that’s why we have a job, even ‘Special Operations’ are weak,” she thinks. Thankfully the skull-like visage and spiked-bulk of the armor keeps kinesic cues to a minimum.

“Captain, I am Lieutenant Markham. We have been briefed on your report and are ready to proceed. Please,” saying “please” is hard when there is no respect, “direct us to the local contact,” she says over hear external speaker

Captain Tavares, or Tesla to some, climbs off the hoverbike and doesn’t immediately respond to the Lieutenant as she surveys the landing site and the troops guarding it. There are two dog boys nearby, and the one still prowling the desert. Another SAMAS, this one is the old-style without the vicious looking spikes hovers overhead barely not-pointing his rail-gun at the Captain. Approximately 50 feet behind the Lieutenant, a giant hulking cyborg seems to ignore the new arrival. Turning with animal like grace, a human sized figure moves closer to the Lieutenant.

“Sir, the hounds picked it up and I confirm it, she’s definitely psychic. Is that a good or a bad thing?” Corporal Silas Yune quietly informs his commander. He’s the dog boy’s handler. He’s not really human, he’s a Psi-Stalker and has many of the animalistic senses and instincts as his charges. He’s very happy with his role killing, doesn’t matter that it’s only vampires on the list.

“I have two more hovercycles about a mile away. You and the nullifier,” Tesla says nodding towards the other SAMAS. “I have riding armor too. We’re not going in guns blazing yet. Follow me.”

There’s almost a visible tension in the second it takes before Markham relays the command. “Gomez, one mile due south.”

Tesla turns her hovercycle around and races off. The Striker SAMAS follows right after, flying only a few feet off the deck. The SAMAS stays high until right overhead. They all reach the extra hovercycles in just a few seconds.

Markham lands and the power armor starts to open up in sections revealing the pilot inside. She’s clad in black armor. She climbs out onto the desert and walks towards one of the bikes. Sitting on the seat is a rough looking pile of fabric and armored plates. A few seconds behind her PFC Juan Gomez disengages his red armor to reveal the black suit beneath. They start to take of the personal body armor exchanging it for the non-descript riding armor provided by Tesla.

As the two pilots finish suiting up, the lumbering borg trots up. Seargent Eric Knox says out loud, “Sir, I’ll cover these.” He has four arms, each pair holding a large gun, gesturing towards the shucked suits of armor.

“Knox, have the others converge here and wait for us, make camp, me and the private will be back 24 hours. Comm silence. Assault if I miss the deadline.” Markham says. Her natural voice is harsh, the tone edgy. Without waiting for Tesla she barks, “Gomez, move your sorry ass. Don’t fuck with anyone unless I give the order.”

“Sir, yes, sir, of course sir,” the private agrees, but his alacrity is patently sarcastic. Thankfully for everyone his superior had already rocketed away.

The three hovercycles make it to Gallup in a little under 20 minutes. Parking at down the street from the Old Gallup Baptist Church they make their way inside. Two men sit in the front pew, several feet separating them.

“Elder Mitchel, Sheriff, these are my associates. If you don’t mind sir, “Tesla says, indicating the Elder, “We need to talk to the Sheriff alone.”

“That was the understanding young one. You may use the office,” the old man replies from his seat, never looking Tesla’s way.

The Sheriff stands up though, looking somewhat sheepish. He has his ten gallon hat in his hands, working his fingers around the brim. “Ma’am, I’m glad you’re here. All this, well, all this ain’t easy for us.”

“Understood, but let’s do this in the office,” Tesla says walking down the short hall to the small room that serves as the church office. It is the only room with a door. Inside the walls are papered with prayers, scripts and other iconography. There is an almost palpable calm in the room.

With the three Coalition soldiers and the Sheriff, it is crowded. The Sheriff takes a seat at the small desk but the others remain standing, circling him. The two women look serious, eyes prying into his soul. Gomez’s eyes are slightly unfocused, but his face is twisted in a cruel smile. But it quickly turns to disappointment.

“Sir, he’s clean.”

Simultaneously and synchronously, Tesla and Markham respond, “Wait outside.” They glower at each other for a moment, then resume their study of the Sheriff.

“Now Sheriff, the details.”

-

“I have your word, ma’am, right? You do promise not to hurt the good people?”

“Coalition States do not engage in the slaughter of innocents, Sheriff, we are here to free your town. Need I remind you, but that is something you could not do.” Tesla looks down at the man, her charm and beauty twisted into weapons that he fears, fears for his life.

Tesla and Markham leave the Sheriff, he may be trembling, and head back to their hovercycles, Gomez follows a few steps behind. He just catches the Sheriff say to the Elder, “Is this the price of our salvation?”

The Elder’s reply is lost as the church door closes.

-

Tesla and the two UDE troopers spend the night making preparations in town. They follow up with the Sheriff late into the night. He has followed through on his word - which they verified - and pulled back some of his vehicles to leave a clear path for the assault team. He seems more confident and in control. It is clear to Tesla and Markham that dealing with concrete straightforward sheriff duties helps him focus on the task and forget he has been a pawn to an evil sorcerer and her gang of vampires.

They leave the hovercycles in town and head back to the UDE squad’s camp in a covered hovertruck. The truck is slower, but still they reach the camp in around 40 minutes.

The camp is spare, no lights. Everyone is working with the nightvision gear built into his or her armor. The silver-plating on the elbow spikes and forearm blades catch the starlight, small twinkles incongruous with the arming-up happening all around. The wooden mallets and wooden stakes set on bandoleers or belts around each soldier are also seemingly at odds with the high tech weaponry. But silver and wooden stakes are some of the most ancient vampire hunting tools.

“Owens, you take Yune and the dogs,” Tesla says as she sketches out the prison compound. She indicates the perimeter fence then counts off the guard towers. “We need you to set charges on the radar tower so we can have air support. Place charges on two or three of the towers too, we need to open up a hole for our assault.”

“Markam, move your squad in through the breach, we will pick up the infiltration element and head to the caves to hunt the necromancer and her minions. Delta-seven-echo team 2 will fly cover and contain the compound. Delta-seven-foxtrot will deploy once the heavy fighting is done, the Vampire Gunship will help locate and identify hidden vamps, flooding them out of the buildings and tunnels. F2 and F3 will come in to handle prisoners. There are mind control victims, so we need to test everyone, make sure everyone is clean.”

Tesla takes a breath. “We don’t know much about the necromancer and her minions, but there are vampires, at least one magic user as well. We suspect one of the big juicers observed in town probably belong to her as well. And the Sheriff’s son. Try not to kill him, at least don’t try too hard to kill him.”

“Any questions?”

She gets nods all around. This sort of operation isn’t unique for these guys, what holes there are in the plan they can fill in easily on the fly.

-

Corporal Janet Owens leads the infiltration element. She is the team’s scout, their sniper. She doesn’t talk much. And especially with two officers present she keeps quiet. But now, she’s in the teeth of things, with only grunts around her. She doesn’t actually care that none of them are human.

She takes her team in towards the wire, each fully capable and champing at the bit to kill the vampires waiting beyond the razor wire fence. They have been briefed, they know the threats, and most potently, they have enormous amounts of experience as a team.

-
From the command position Tesla watches the infiltration team as long as she can. They quickly disappear into the shadows surrounding the camp in the twilight of dawn. She doesn’t bother to look at her assault element. They are there and ready.

She hears a double click of static over the radio. Almost simultaneously Markham triggers the explosives. The sound has barely had time to pass by when the UDE assault element moves at frightening speed towards the fence.

It’s only a few more seconds before the perimeter defenses are disabled. The air support rockets overhead, four more frightening SAMAS lay down a hail of covering fire. The entire compound seems to explode in flames, vehicles flying into the air disintegrating. But it’s extremely precise, leaving Tesla and Markham’s team a clear path towards the caves beyond, where the real enemy lies in wait.

Knowing the SAMAS are taking control of the mop up and prisoner processing, Tesla approaches the caves confident that her back is secure. The entrance is deceptively bucolic.

-
Only four minutes later, Countess lays on the ground unconscious and bleeding profusely from her eyes, nose and ears. Duke is missing both arms, but is conscious and bent over the huge juicer tearing out his viscera with huge gulping bites. The juicer might still be alive, but not for long.

Battered, bleeding and ready for vengeance, Gomez, Tesla, Markham have the necromancer cornered, and apparently out of magic. She doesn’t quite beg for mercy but it looks like she is seriously considering it. Her mage-armor is shredded to bits and her head bleeding from a vibroblade slice, she is barely standing. She starts to raise her hand, to what purpose no one will ever know because all the Coalition soldiers shoot her simultaneously. The corrupted body explodes into bloody fleshy bits that cover the inside of the cave.

-

None of the enemy dead are carried out. Only one enemy survives intact, though hardly unhurt. Tesla does not fight with the fearsome rage of the UDE troops, and had the presence of mind to hit the Sheriff’s son in the head with a neural mace. He fell unconscious and twitching, but alive.

Gomez carries Countess, “Fuck me, I can’t fly. Stupid necro-bitch, what the fuck…” his litany of curses continues until Markham barks, “Shut the fuck up.”

The Sheriff’s son bounces none to gently on Knox’s sharply armored shoulder. Knox is silent. He looks down at his missing lower right arm and squeezes the Sheriff’s son tight enough for bones to crack.

Duke’s face is covered in juicer blood. His eyes are barely open but he insists on walking under his own power, but Yune is there to help stabilize him when he stumples.

Owens is laconic as usual. She and Daisy bring up the rear watching for any reemerging threats. She’s also setting up a series of explosives as she makes her way out.

“Sir, all clear and charges set.”

There’s no warning after that before the entire cave explodes in a massive fireball followed by a hail of rock and dirt. The debris rains down on the squad, but none of them seem to notice, they just trudge on.

-

It’s still early by most standards. The UDE do their work fast and efficiently. The two squads were retrieved and well away from Gallup before Tesla returned to town. Her first stop was the Sheriff. This time she met him at the police station.

“Sheriff, your report,” she commands, and there is no ambiguity in her statement. The lawman quickly complies.

“Uh, sir, we were able to get the townsfolk out of harms way before your attack, except the mind control victims. Those we rounded up and got into the compound saying the witch wanted that to happen. We kept up the disguise that some of us were still controlled.”

He pauses and roots around in his desk for something. Still on edge, Tesla half draws her pistol. She relaxes when the Sheriff pulls out a pouch of tobacco and some papers. He starts rolling a smoke, his hands moving autonomously as he continues his report.

“I called for a curfew last night too, which kept most honest folk off the street. Claimed there were some out-of-towners looking for trouble. With your folks here earlier, it was an easy sell.”

He pauses, taking the unlit cigarette from his mouth, “When will my son be back?”

Tesla stares him at him. Her voice is impassive when she answers, “He is being taken to a facility for deprogramming and rehabilitation. If he responds well to the treatment, he should return in a month. If he continuous to show signs of contamination it could be much longer. Perhaps the preacher could help you pray he responds well.”

The Sheriff doesn’t look happy about the answer, but realizes he should be thankful that his son is actually alive. He has heard many different rumors about the Coalition and how they treat prisoners, so he is apprehensive, not all paint the human empire in a good light.

Picking up on the Sheriff’s train of thought, Tesla lets the lawman in on some new information. “I will be staying in town for a while longer to make sure there is no slippage in your vigilance against inhuman trash.”

The Sherriff’s hands shake as he lights the smoke. He’s not sure just exactly the price he paid to be rescued.

CS110-SOG After Action report
Section 1. Biographical and Location Information.
Author: LT Jericho Jackson
Subject: Operation Ambush
Deployed Location: Hammond Industrial District
Deployed Personnel: CPT Howlett (commanding), LT Jackson, CPL Culter, SSG Grey, SGT Madox, PFC Leighton, PVT Mane

Section 2. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Deployment
Resolution: I deployed by drop insertion to the unit's location, to find a squad under fire by enemy forces. I engaged with the enemy from my airborne vantage point and by stealth, and assisted the groundside forces.
Situation after Resolution: Enemy forces were neutralized, save for 1 which made an escape. I joined the groundside forces and returned with them to their operational location.

Situation: Emergency Medical Procedure
Resolution: Upon return to the group's lcoation, PVT Mane was found to require emergency surgery. CPT Howlett performed such on the spot, with robotic assistance. His surgery was fast and precise. Within hours, PVT Mane appeared to be quickly on the mend. Lacking Medical skills I was unable to assist except by restraining Mane.
Situation after Resolution: Mane was given an evening to recover. He has remarkable recuperative abilities, and was op-ready by the next morning.

Situation: Drawing out the Target
Resolution: Utilizing intel gained prior to my deployment, the unit deployed to the Hammond Industrial District. A force, including PVT Mane, scouted by ground, attempting to draw out "The Sadist", while myself and Culter provided overwatch by air. This ploy proved apt, as the target fired rounds at our ground forces, and then attempted to restrict Mane's movement via a forcefield or telekinetic field which I assume is psionic in nature, given the nature of the target. Over watch attempted to scout out the location as ground forces did the same. Security arrived on the scene, including one member being mind-controlled by the target.
Situation after Resolution: While we were unable to capture the target, we discovered that he was using mind-controlled operatives to strike at his targets, as he was using a security agent controlled in this manner, whom he then paralyzed. We searched his safehouse for any remaining evidence using all means at our disposal.

Section 3. Summary and Conclusions.
Conclusion: While we were unable to contain the target, we were able to successfully draw him out. He targeted PVT Mane, suggesting his hostility extends to mutants of all types, and not just dogboys. We determined that he is skilled at using puppeteered individuals as operatives, can paralyze such if needed, and can deploy telekinetic or similar barriers. He has a range of skills and abilities typical to a Delphi Juicer, but an enmity to mutants that is unnatural, and a cleverness and cruelty that makes him extremely dangerous.

I affirm that this information is true and accurate to the best of my ability,
LT Jericho Jackson

CS110-SOG After Action report
Section 1. Biographical and Location Information.
Author: Corporal Everett Culter
Subject: Operation Ambush
Deployed Location: Hammond Industrial Disctrict
Deployed Personnel: CPT Howlett (commanding), LT Jackson, SSG Grey, SGT Madox, CPL Culter, PFC Leighton, PVT Mane

Section 2a. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Ambush en route with Dog Boy Pack. The transport that held the Dogboys I was transporting came under fire.
Resolution: Suspected enemies were raiders, and were neutralized once link up was established with 40-4th members. One enemy escaped. Several pieces of equipment recovered.
Situation after Resolution: All but one enemies were neutralized, All Dogboys and Pilots of Transport KIA. Situation was forwarded to command upon arrival at operational HQ prior to deployment to Hammond Industrial District

Section 2b. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Hunt for High Value Target, the sadist, in the high population area of Hammond Industrial District.
Resolution: Provided Ariel support by establishing positive control over the frequencies and maintaining proper eye on moving civilian pieces prior to the storm setting in. Pvt Mane came under direct assault, first via a barrier that was established to be psionic in nature, then via a shot. Upon attempting to trace the shooter, there was no luck. However, once Port Authority arrived, it was determined that the target was mentally possessing a member of the security force.
Situation after Resolution: I was able to mentally assault the target and force him out of the controlled individual, however we were unable to locate his physical body due to the high amount of buildings and population to content with. Cpt Howlett and I then proceeded to run emergency medical procedures on the victim and I was able to read the faint aura of the target. For future engagements, I have confidence I will be able to identify the signs and the aura of the HVT to better contain and capture (or kill) him. Though it faded fast, we were able to locate track marks heading out into the wilds during the blizzard. Port Authority is a positive contact, and provided us with all means and evidence we requested. Potentially usable in the future, cover remained intact.

Section 3. Summary and Conclusions.
Conclusion: We were unable to capture the target, however we did secure a positive relationship with Port Authority for future cooperation. I was able to determine a great deal about his abilities, including his ability to mentally control others, erect barriers and even the potential use of long-range psionic sight. Target is still at large, and should be considered extremely dangerous. Target was identified by the victim of the original mental control as Mr. Smith, who was described as a personable and well-funded individual who had no issues tossing credits around. This implies he is a big player, likely has a large fund resource available to them.

I affirm that this information is true and accurate to the best of my ability,

CS110-SOG After Action report
Section 1. Biographical and Location Information.
Author: Captain James Howlett MDBS.
Subject: Operation Ambush
Deployed Location: Hammond Industrial District
Deployed Personnel: CPT Howlett (commanding), LT Jackson, CPL Culter, SSG Grey, SGT Madox, PFC Leighton, PVT Mane

Section 2. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Arrival to Hammond via third party assets.
Resolution: Arrived to pre-established warehouse, and set up temporary residence.
Situation after Resolution: Began opperation.

Situation: Investigation into possible leads to capture target.
Resolution: Options narrowed down from four possible targets, leading the team to speak with local black market.
Situation after Resolution: Set up a meeting with Black Market, learned a great deal of intel (see attached file).

Situation: Meeting with Black Market went smoothly save that their only witness was also a victim and needed serious medical attention.
Resolution: Using personal skills, administered care to freeborn Dogboy female. Which opened communication with victim, so as to find out key peices of intel.
Situation after Resolution: Actions garnered favor with the Black Market, which allowed us access to their information networks and further evidence (See attached file).

Situation: Medical Emergency occurred when behavioral implant in Private Mane malfunctioned.
Resolution: Performed emergency brain surgery, removing obviously flawed implant. (see attached file.)
Situation after Resolution: Private Mane recovered rather quickly from the surgery which allowed us to move onto our attempt to acquire the target.

Situation: Attempted to Acquire Target by using Private Mane as bait. Likely would have worked a bit better if we had a Dogboy, but none were available.
Resolution: Target likely noticed us as at the very least mercenaries attempting to bait him out of hiding. Used a proxy to keep us occupied while the Port Authority made its way to us. (See attached files)
Situation after Resolution: Was guided to hideout of target, were several discoveries were made. (See attached files, Package inbound)

Section 3. Summary and Conclusions.
Conclusion: The operation could be considered a partial success, target was ousted from the Hammond area and is unlikely to return for some time. Failure to capture the target does mean that he is still free to murder more Dogboy's, but with the information gathered he will have a harder time staying hidden for long.

I affirm that this information is true and accurate to the best of my ability,

CS110-SOG After Action report
Section 1. Biographical and Location Information.
Author: Sgt. Karl Madox
Subject: Operation Ambush
Deployed Location: Operation Ambush
Deployed Personnel: CPT Howlett (commanding), LT Jackson, CPL Culter, SSG Grey, SGT Madox, PFC Leighton, PVT Mane

Section 2a. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Ambushed and shot down on route to meet up with CPT Howlett and remainder of team. Transport containing SGT Madox, CPL Culter and two experimental Dogboys was shot down.
Resolution: Bandits involved in shooting down the transport were engaged by SGT Madox and CPL Culter. Bandits utilized heavier ordinance to try to shoot down SGT Madox and CPL Culter in order to steal our powered armour and equipment. Bandits were successfully fought off with the assistance of the rest of the team when they arrived on scene to meet us.
Situation after Resolution: Both dogboys KIA during crash. Transport cleared out and then then remains were destroyed as per SOP. Primary mission was then continued.

Section 2b. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: Hunt for target of Operation Ambush in Hammond Industrial Disctrict.
Resolution: Utilized powered armour to provide air cover for team during search for target. Target employed booby traps and psionic based attacks to engage the team, attempting to frame us as a hostile force to Hammond itself. PVT Mane came under repeated confinement utilizing pionic force fields. While attempting to find the location of the target SGT Madox was ambushed when the target utilized a high powered laser blast to destroy the supports of a rooftop where a hide had been discovered, causing the collapse of the building. Fortunately SGT Madox was able to fly clear of the collapse.
Situation after Resolution: Potential target was spotted by PVT Mane and quickly approached with intent to neutralize once positively identified. Unfortunately the target turned out to be merely under mental control of the target who had been observing us using psionic means earlier. The target utilized psionic means to paralyze the victim to buy himself time to escape. While we were able to find the target's safe house and inspect it, the target had unfortunately fled leaving few clues as to his destination. The target however appeared to have left behind items of importance to him as discovered by PVT Mane

Section 3. Summary and Conclusions.
Conclusion: The loss of the two experimental dogboys and the loss of the primary target sets this operation up as a solid loss. Unfortunately, without prior knowledge of the target's overall abilities and capabilities it's difficult to foresee a more favourable outcome. The loss of the dogboys due to an ambush by presumably unaffiliated bandits potentially contributed rather heavily to the mission failure as their assistance would have been a significant aid in tracking the target's true location. While it can't be entirely ruled out that the target hired the bandits, I consider it unlikely as they seemed more interested in highjacking our equipment and were ill prepared for a proper fight.

CS110-SOG After Action report
Section 1. Biographical and Location Information.
Author: Private Mane, LSF2-313-103-5D65-7665
Subject: Operation :Ambush; on or about January 11, 110 PA
Deployed Location: Hammond Industral District
Deployed Personnel: CPT Howlett (commanding), LT Jackson, CPL Culter, SSG Grey, SGT Madox, PFC Leighton, PVT Mane

Section 2. Situation and Resolution Section.
Situation: The team and myself were tasked wtih investigating and apprehending a serial killer that the team had unofficially dubbed The Artist. He was so named because of my theory that the psychopath viewed his grim work as some sort of sadistic artistic expression. Using aliases and covers, we deployed to Hammond and began to question the locals. It was also determend that if we could not find the (so-called) Artist, we could try to draw him(?) out with what we had hoped to be irrestiable bait. That bait being myself, me being the sole mutant animal of the team, acting in a mannor that we thought might provoke him into exposing himself. While the ploy of baiting him out into the open did not work, our investigation did lead us to the only victim of The Artist's who had survived an attack.
That survivor was a female Psi-Hound named LeeLee. She was accosted by The Artist by the docks, but her attack was intrupted by the local organized crime syndacate, whom had a fondness for LeeLee. Captain Howlett tended to her serios wounds and we were able to gather more information about The Artist from both LeeLee and her criminal companions. We were able to confirm that he was indeed a lone hunter with no decernable acomplaces, and that he was a Delphi Juicer who attacked by both psysical and psychc means.
After this development I required a brief rest to deal with a minor technical issue with one of my implants, but was up and running by the next morning.
Resolution: Using the intelligence and asumptions we collected, by the next morning we deployed to the dock area in an attempt to flush The Aftist out. Unfortunately we underestimated the extent of his cunning, and the strenght and variety of his psychic abilities. He was able to detain myself using a series of psychic force fields (though I was able to break through them with a liberal application of brute force), and kept the rest of the team guessing about his whereabouts using his ability to mentally possess the locals on the street and use them as unsuspecting puppets. Ultimately, by the time we were able to figure out his game and apprehend one of his puppets (as the subject was being forced to commit "suicude"), he was able to flee the area and make good his escape.
Situation after Resolution: In the aftermath of the skirmish, we were able to determine where The Artist was making his nest, and piece together his means and mode of escape. Being able to physically touch where he had been in contact with, I was able to establsih a psychic contact with him and view his present whereabouts. Unfortunatley what I saw made no sense to me. I was told later that he escaped using some kind of underwater vehicle that I am unfamiliar with, and what I saw his shadowy reflection on some bubble-like canopy and strange controls.
I was also able to gleem a sense of loss for something he left behind, which in part lead to the discovery of the blanket of dog ears the team uncovered and retreived.

Section 3. Summary and Conclusions.
Conclusion: While I believe that my team could have eventaully located and terminated The Artist, had he not runlike the craven cowared he is, the next team sent after him would benefit form a Psi-Nullifyer or Nega Psychic to negate his abilities; at the very least, a psychic with the abilty to sense those who are possessed and excercise his presence from their minds. And while the trophy blanket retrieved may be useful in tracking The Artist down at a future date, it is my opinion that the ovewhelming psychic enerygy of pain and suffering on that item is too dangerous for any psychic to suss out and retain a semblance of sanity. It should be destroyed.

I affirm that this information is true and accurate to the best of my ability,
PVT Mane

Re: CS 40-4 and CS 110 After Action Reports

Postby Egan Grey » Tue Mar 17, 2020 3:43 pm

Egan clicks on the screen to begin his report, his hair still damp from his shower.

"Staff Sergeant Egan Grey, service number IL51-228-092-F9FE-E800, reporting on the attempted ambush of the dog boy killer in Hammond. The Doc...." Egan sighs audibly before continuing.
-Damn, bureaucratic bullshit!-
"Captain James Howlett in command, with myself, Private First Class Leighton and Private Mane started the operation to which we talked with various people of interest. Shortly after, myself and Private Leighton answered a distress call from Sergeant Madox and Corporal Culter. Upon arrival we engaged with a crew well equipped and versed in tactics that had disabled the inbound transport. After a short fight we managed to scare them off while recovering two of their hoverbikes and saddlebags with some computer gear. Lieutenant Jackson joined us on the ground as we took one bike with us and destroyed the other."
Taking a sip of water from a glass, Egan clears his throat before continuing.
"With information that the Doc had gathered we moved to try and flush out the assh..." He clears his throat again. "...the perp. Being on the other side of town the situation was resolved before my arrival onsite. Hearing that he fled I came across where a bike had been stashed and tracked it to a pier where it looked like another vehicle was stationed to continue his retreat, a underwater vehicle of some sort. We took the first vehicle with us which was of the same make as the other one from the first group. While it might be a common bike used by many for its cold weather capabilities, I wonder if the two could be linked. Given more time to try and glean better information before attempting to flush him out we might have been able to at least get a glimpse of the guy or even put him down for good. Given the time table in which we operated we had a great shot that did not end in our favor, the result could become a problem."
Egan rubs his face gently before finishing up.
"I affirm that this information is true and accurate to the best of my ability."
