Special Abilities
1. One with the body: All Magi are trained to know their mind and body, although the High Magus has minimal physical bonuses. The High Magus is a more cerebral and philosophical character. Fatigues at half the normal rate, can hold breath for 3 min., has good balance (+5%) and coordination.

2. One with the mind: The mage is alert and able to concentrate and stay focused even when all hell is breaking loose around him. It also enables the character to keep his calm, ignore insults (“Words cannot hurt the body and only sting the mind and emotions if one allows it. Hollow words are not worth fighting over. They are empty and meaningless.”)

3. One with Magic: The Magus has a comprehensive understanding of the principles of magic and is especially well versed in ritual magic and power spells.

4. Pilot Automaton. [All, but prefers the Colossus]

5. May Draw PPE from ley lines, nexus points, people, and ritual blood sacrifice the same as a Ley Line Walker.

6. Link with the Lords of Magic. The High Magus has a mysterious connection to the Lords of Magic (similar to a priest and their gods)that even the the Magi don’t quite understand(nor realize the full extent). It is through this link that, unknown to the High Magi, they can animate and empower the Automatons. Known to the High Mage is that they can draw upon the fast PPE reserves of the three Lords of Magic to create permanent magic weapons via the Enchant Weapons (minor) spell, and at half the normal PPE cost to The Three. This link helps the Magi to learn their high level magic and also alerts The Three when a High Mage is killed; they know instantly, and have a general idea of where (within 200 miles/320km) and whether the Magus suffered, but not how or by whom.

Daelur: “What for?”
The Three: [Communing] “We will only say… it is necessary.”
Daelur: …

Daelur: “Alone- will I continue to commune with you?”
The Three: [Deliberation] “We shall always be.”
Daelur: “Will I be able to return?”
The Three: [Longer communing than before] “Time will tell- take this with you. It has a bit of us inside.”


One of those cliché creative types, Daelur is often drafting the next project or prototype, and on more than several occasions hurriedly waking with vivid images of the latest machination. A being of discipline with a regimen of meditation, the Avian humanoid traverses the megaverse regularly in astral form. His reason for being:

To learn and gain knowledge,
To protect- especially things that he loves,

My character is a High Magus, this and his alignment prevent him from dominating any creature. He believes in freedom above all and for all. However, I the player feel that a mage without a familiar is not a mage at all.

Hey,

Noticed this out of the corner of my eye and mentioned it to Augur. (I used to do CG for the site as well)

Are you a totally new player?

If so, you need to direct your attention to the EP system and unlocks.

A Timneh is an AU character and thus considered Heroes Unlimited in Origin.

(5 EP) Heroes Unlimited Includes: Aliens Unlimited, Ninjas and Superspies

As a new player (if you are) you begin with 1 EP, with the option of starting at a lower level than 3 per each additional EP, so if you began at level 1 the most you'd be able to swing is 3 EP.

Carry on if you are not, OR are destined for the Phase World game, but I'm not sure that Dark Lord allows earth based OCCs in it.

I am not a totally new player, I Have been playing Bryke in Phase World... but I must have miscounted the EP cost. I thought it was 2 EP. I should have more than 5 EP however. I do not know how much in total... there was a little bit of a mixup with my total.

You need to update your ledger post - as it doesn't list your current character, and has one of your email addresses but not the other (not sure why you're using 2 different email addresses but w/e). That'd probably need to happen before your EP total can be addressed.

Rule #1 of not confusing the shit out of admin: use ONE e-mail address

Rule #2 of not confusing the shit out of admin: use the EP marketplace correctly; that means any new character slots, unlocks, etc. are purchased through the marketplace, and all updates that need to be done to your ledger need to be posted to the marketplace as well.

Truly Truly apologize about all the confusion, and mishap on my part.

First: I've changed the email notification in the EP post to the best of my ability. If something is inaccurate I'll fix it again.

Second: I apologize again, in my haste to play a second Character I did not read all the rules that apply. I honestly missed the cost for a new character, and misread somewhere that it costs "2".. I read that in the cost for a Eurasia pc .. or should say misread it there. I only now see that it costs "5" EP.

That is my fault entirely, and I apologize for the snafu.

If you can't play it yet, my suggestion is to put it in a PM to yourself so you have access to it and don't have to redo your work (you still needed to roll attributes as is). Also, make sure you post it to yourself in the right order (Sheet, Gear, Background, Rolls (for future rolls, you don't have any yet)/Checklist)

Also, I feel this concept would be better served by being human, elf, or pretty much anything but something from AU. It's a distinctly Rifts Earth class, and you did nothing to make it seem like it was anything but a "hey cool" move. But if you pay for it at the time, just realize this will be a requirement.

Yeah, The Three are a very Rifts Earth thing. It would be better to use something at least known on RIfts Earth. Check out D-Bees of NA and Conversion Book 1 for options.
