NG-SW500 Dual Rail Gun Nose Turret:
Mounted under the nose of the Sky Wolf is a gatling-style rail gun. The “gun arm” can turn side to side at a 90 degree angle and can tilt up and down 45 degrees without having to angle the nose and tilt the entire helicopter.
  • Range: 4,000'
  • Damage: 4D6 M.D. for a short burst or 1D4x10 M.D. for a long burst. A single burst is 20 rounds, a long burst is 40 rounds.
  • Rate of Fire: Each single or double burst counts as one melee attack.
  • Payload: 3,200 round internal drum fed magazine for 160 single bursts or 80 long bursts (40 rounds). Reloading the drum is a complicated process that requires special equipment, a trained ground crew and 10-15 minutes time.
NG-SW66 Mini-Missile Wing Launchers (2; side):
Mounted on each side of the Sky Wolf, behind the cockpit, is a box launcher that fires mini-missiles (24 total) capable of rapid fire and large volleys of mini-missiles or torpedoes.
  • Range: One mile
  • Damage: Varies with missile type. Any mini-missile can be used, but standard issue is armor piercing (1D4x10 M.D.) and/or plasma (1D6x10 M.D.). May be substituted with mini-torpedoes.
  • Rate of Fire: One at a time or volleys of 2, 4 or 6. Each volley, regardless of the number of missiles fired, counts as one melee attack.
  • Payload: 24 total missiles (12 in each launcher).
Troops: As a combat gunship and troop transport, the Sky Wolf may carry 4-6 combat troops who can join a ground or air assault depending on the gear they are carrying. The Sky Wolf is often used to insert and extract infantry troops and special ops teams.
Sensors and Features of Note: Basically the same as robot vehicles.

Background Story

The life of Maximillian O'Malley begins with the story of his parents.

His father was born in a lab in the Lone Star complex. He was a bobcat battle cat assigned to as an asset to a dogboy pack in a western outlying area. He being a battle cat tended to work alone and did not care for his co workers so much. He liked his new commanding officer even less. This new CO was unaware of the battle cats natural personality traits but assumed he would fall in like a dogboy and treated him like one. This lead to a disagreement which lead to the evisceration and disembowelment of the commanding officer. Knowing his actions would lead to his execution he fled north to Merc Bay in Escanaba and joined a mercenary team.

His mother was a black panther battle cat. She however liked her dogboys. She was assigned to scout for them to search for a D-bees in the north western edge of coalition territory. She and the pack sensed a magical creature in a cavern and she lead them right to it. To the misfortune of the pack the creature turned out to be a dragon. A dragon that destroyed her dogboys and nearly killed her as well. She managed to escape the cavern but she was bleeding out. She drug herself as far as she could until she collapsed.

A group of mercenaries were passing nearby and heard the battle. However a member of this group was a bobcat battle cat, and he could smell the blood. He dropped everything and went right to her. He was instantly infatuated and took her to a doctor and did not leave her side. When she awoke, she felt like she owed him her life. She felt as she had let down her dogboys and the coalition and decided to not go back out of shame. As she healed she cultivated a belief that a higher power saved her and lead her to this place.

The two were married changed their names to Thompson and Patricia O'Malley and they could not keep working as hired guns and opened a bar named O'Malleys Alley. Thompson was a natural bar keeper and loved his life in the bar. Patricia still felt a higher power was guiding her and found it in the catholic church. She spent her life giving to the community. Their son was born a black cat with bobcat ears and a short tail. He grew up between the worlds of the bar and the church. He helped his dad by cleaning and stocking the bar. Life in a bar in the Merc Bay was tough and he was regularly in fights in the bar. He found he liked to sing the blues in the bar and was a regular entertainer. He was also raised in the church and was baptized and saved.

As he grew to adulthood he left the bar and began training as a mercenary and learned that he had a natural ability to operate almost any vehicle he sat in. He eventually found himself flying as a bush pilot and a smuggler in the Great Lakes area. Max has recently found himself on the wanted list of Northern Guns loss prevention agents when he picked up some guns from a fair he flew into Canada. Feeling the heat he moved out of the area and went with a hired gun and and explorer to the region of MadHaven in search of riches.
