Canonical items, both tech and magic, will be posted to this thread.

In accordance with this ongoing bounty, you will be rewarded with EP for your efforts.

GUIDANCE
  • Duplicates will not be rewarded, so check to see if something has already been done before wasting your time!
  • Be wise and track your own submissions!
  • Remember the process:
    • Use the correct template
      • Deviating from/adding your own format to a template will result in no credit
    • Fill out the template completely! (If you have questions, contact Augur or Major James Smith)
    • Post your submission to the correct submission thread
    • One post per item submission
    [insert image here: 100 pixels in height, 50 or less for small/thin weapons, .png format, transparent background, only use the EU Image Repository to host images!]
  • These are FIRM NUMBERS, not ballpark sums. The above is from melee weapons template, see other templates for variance.
  • Don't include code blocks--those are done for each entry after the entry itself is verified to be complete, accurate, and properly formatted. (That's all admin stuff)
  • Don't vary from the templates. For example, if the armor template doesn't have an entry for "class," DON'T INCLUDE IT. You're just creating more work for yourself because you'll be asked to go fix it.
  • There's a jillion possible ways to write the same thing, so when at all possible (and this is usually possible), follow style precedent:

Only trained Wolverine People and Heavy and Superheavy Machines can fire the weapon from standing, kneeling or prone positions with no difficulty, but it is nearly impossible for unaugmented humans or even Light Machines to use due to the weight, length and tremendous recoil. A bipod can be attached for extra stability and about half of the weapons have one as a standard feature along with a telescopic gunsight.

SH-31 Ballistic Knife

  • Features: If so desired, the Bear Tooth blaster can be fired after the Vibro-Blade portion has been stabbed into a cyborg or monster, but shooting counts as a separate attack (one attack to stab and one attack to shoot the gun). This can be deadly because the intended victim is unable to parry or dodge the quick ion blast that follows the stabbing in quick succession - while the blade is still inside of him! The only exception is if the stabbing victim manages to successfully step back and turn away from the weapon before it is fired (a maneuver that inflicts another 2D4 M.D. from the blade), or spins to rip it out of his body (doing 4D4 M.D. from the blade!). Even then he is not likely to be able to move fast enough to avoid the blast: -4 to dodge, -4 to initiative, should it apply. Note: The blast pushes the impaled victim off the Vibro-Blade, but the two combatant are still in range for the ion blaster to fire (normal dodge roll) or for another stab and blast to be attempted (parry or dodge).

        Poison Damage: 1D4x100 S.D.C./Hit Points to humans and most D-Bees - 4D6 M.D., plus 1D6 M.D. additional damage at the beginning of each new melee round for 1D6 melees. The poison does its full damage because the blades of the Double Dagger are designed to hold the poison (they positively drip with venom) and because the poison is freshly secreted by the Leaper so it is at full strength. Covering the blades counts as one melee action/attack.
        The poison is only effective against opponents who have exposed skin, because the weapon must cut flesh to inflict damage. On arrows and spears, the dose of poison is only good for one hit, but on the Double-Dagger, swords, axes and other large blade weapons, the poison can inflict damage from two cutting attacks before it is sufficiently wiped clean from the blade.

      Range: 400 feet (122 m). Defenders can attempt to dodge but do so with a penalty of -6.
      Rate of Fire: Each three spike burst counts as one melee attack/action. Roll once to strike, either all the spikes in the burst hit or all miss.
      Payload: 60 rounds for 20 bursts. It costs 24 P.P.E. or 48 I.S.P to magically recreate the shooting spikes. Reloading can be done by the shooter or a Xiticix Queen.
      Market Cost: 90,000-120,000 credits; considered a Techno-Wizard weapon and is very rare.

      Weight: 40 lbs (18 kg); most humanoids must use two hands to aim and shoot, otherwise they are -4 to strike. Beings with supernatural strength, or a bionic or robot P.S. of 30 or higher, can fire the rifle with one hand.
      Damage: None per se, but the heavy goop clings to the clothes, body armor and the body and impairs movement. It is very sticky, difficult to remove and quickly hardens in 1D4+1 melee rounds (30-75 seconds)!
