Rewards of this type must first be included in the player character's character sheet upon redemption. Then the new ability/power must be manifested as an in-character discovery through roleplay. Players and GMs are advised to coordinate in order to make this occur as soon as contextually possible. Necessarily, non-mega heroes cannot develop mega powers.

Upgrading to Mega

Looking to kick your character up a notch? Go Mega!

When you unlock the Mega-Hero Reward, you may apply it to your current character if so desired. The process is as such:

  • You apply Mega-Powers to your character upon unlock.
  • Your character's current experience points are transferred to the Mega-Hero experience point chart. Until you match your previous level, your skills and abilities remain frozen.
  • Upon reaching your next level of Mega-Experience, your character progresses as normal on the Mega-Hero experience chart.

Example:
  • Johnny plays Roger Dodger, a level 6 Experiment with 27,850 XP.
  • Johnny unlocks the Mega-Hero Reward and applies it to Roger Dodger.
  • Roger Dodger's 27,850 XP makes him a level 4 Mega-Experiment.
  • He gains his Mega Powers, Special Mega Powers and Achilles' Heel.
  • His Prowl skill and Energy Expulsion: Energy power stay frozen at level 6 until he reaches the equivalent experience on the Mega-Hero table to get to level 7 (60,001).
  • His next level will be Level 8 @ 80,001 XP

EP Options:
Options to add Mega-Powers have been added to the Century Station EP Menu. A character may never have more than (the equivalent) of 3 Mega Powers. Some Mega Powers count as two selections.
