Alignment: Unprincipled – was originally Scrupulous, but the events of “The Wave” and its aftermath he’s become a little more “pragmatic” (in his own words)

Outlook on Earth’s Future: Pragmatic Hero. The odds are stacked against humanity, but we can’t give up. This character feels he and his fellow survivors have no choice but to fight. To give up means death… or worse, life as a monster, as the walking dead. He prays their valiant efforts will be enough to prevent total obliteration of human life at the hands of the Creeping Doom.
Disposition: Bitter and hardened by the Zombie Apocalypse. Has little compassion or sympathy for others, especially those who are foolish. Tends to be intolerant, short-tempered and gruff with everyone. Shows no mercy to the enemy. The carnage and the sight of the dead has no obvious impact on this “war is hell, suck it up,” individual.
Survivor Family Loss: Lost many, but his two younger sisters (ages 17 and 21) survived and are living in a Safe Haven Community.
Insanity: Incredibly, Bubba has made it through “The Wave” and its aftermath without going insane -- although some might say that his more “pragmatic” outlook on life might qualify as such.

He prefers to keep his facial features concealed behind scarves, masks, goggles, etc., so as to reduce the chances of people freaking out when they see him for the first time.

Abbreviated Backstory

• Bubba was a star football player in college (U of Florida)
• Career cut short by a horrific car accident caused by a drunk driver
• Extensive scarring and long-term physical therapy
• By the time he recovered the sport had all but forgotten him
• Joined the Coast Guard, search & rescue service
• Narrowly survived “The Wave” but still managed to get his two sisters Bridget and Bethany to a Safe Haven community
