1. Understand the principles of magic: Sorcerers know and understand the main principles of magic and sorcery, including rituals, symbols, incantations and paraphernalia. This allows them to distinguish between fake "occult" materials and the real thing, as well as to determine the general purpose of specific items and even which supernatural forces are involved. Base Skill: 70% +2% per level of experience. The character will "see" the faint traces of psychic energy running down the ley lines or seething at nexus points. Range: Line of sight or one mile (1.6 km), whichever is less.

Glowing Metal Pin-Boned WereButterfly

Interesting description.
Glowing has quite a few possibilities.
Metal has a number as well
Pin-boned is tough, not finding much actually...but I do have an idea or two
Werebutterfly is clearly intended to force only one specific choice...so that is the one the requires most abuse :twisted:

So, your basic werebutterfly has the following basic traits: 2 pairs of hands/arms, insectoid head with mandibles, antennae and faceted eyes, a soft exoskeleton, and wings.

So, we will start with the B-movie Alien with Extra Hands, insect-like head, a pair of antannae (feathery...male insect like) 2D4x10+12 S.D.C., -1D4 I.Q. and M.E. for savage "monster alien" or+ 1D4 to I.Q. and M.E. for "intelligent/
evil mastermind alien," +1D6 to P.S., +2 to P.E., +3 to damage, +2 to Perception Rolls and+ 1D4 to Horror Factor. Penalties: -1D4 to M.A. and P.B., reduce Spd by 20%, and probably impossible to disguise or pass for human.

An an additional Trait, we give you Faerie Wings (Butterfly). +2D6 to S.D.C., + 1 to P.P., + 1D6 to Spd, can hover in mid-air, flying speed is double the Spd attribute number, maximum altitude is 15,000 feet (4572 m), +2 to dodge in flight, and each wing has ID6xl0+ 11 S.D.C. (an attacker must make a "Called Shot" at a penalty of -3 to hit a wing).

Now move up...the bones of an insect is it's exoskeleton, so "pin-boned" for an insect would be an exoskeleton with something like pins, needles, or nails sticking out. The Hypodermic Quills trait fits fairly well...+1d4 PE, +1d4 PS, +6d6 SDC, -1d4 PB, -1d4 SPD, -2d4 HP, -2d4 PPE. +2 Strike with Syringe, +3 roll with impact, +2 HF, -2 perception, -1 dodge and pull punch, -10% on skill performance.

Now, since you are an alien...we will use the "Light science-fiction armor" for your exoskeleton (Light, because butterflies are soft bodied) +2d4*10+40 SDC, Natural AR 11, +1 roll with impact, +1 HF, environmentally sealed...does not breathe. -1 perception, -1 PE, -1 to save vs magic, -5% to skills requiring a fine touch, -10% to physical skills like acrobatics, climb, prowl, and swim. We will stipulate this armor is made of what looks like metal.

Finally, we get glowing. Now...how about something Super...the Energized Trait makes you glow. +2 PP, +d6*10+20 PE, half damage from energy, able to fire an energy blast for 3d6+1/L damage (double damage to evil supernatural beings), range 20'/L. -(4d6+6) PPE, -2 MA, -2 ME, -50% Prowl, Undercover ops, Disguise, an Seduction.
