This is a thread for items that appear in the Toledo Blade or on local TV and Radio stations. It may provide useful information, or just random things that I think of which would be happening. Given this is a sandbox type setting, a lot of this may have to do with events you are not currently involved in.

Confusing polls still indicate Trump behind opposition in national election race.

Number one on the country charts this week is "She wants her Leaving me Back"

In a surprise move, both North Korea and Iran announced they are joining the UN sponsored Nuclear Disarmament accord and will be allowing international inspection of their production facilities. President Trump firmly rejects attempts to get the US to join.

Local police in Toledo and surrounding communities announce a crackdown on prostitution.

A new display of ancient artifacts and species reconstructions from remains found in local caverns is opening at the Imagination Station, located in the Seagate Center. Many of these specimens come from the Indian Trail Caverns located near Carey.

A man was admitted to the hospital today suffering from snakebite, he was treated and released, but local authorities are on the lookout for a poisonous snake that they presume must have been accidentally released in the area, as there are no native poisonous snakes this far north in Ohio.

Severe storms last night have caused power outages, fallen trees, and damage to several local buildings. Work crews are our repairing damages, expect delays. Remember, treat a light where power is out as a four-way stop.

A Tractor Trailer was flipped over on I-475 last night by the winds near the Byrne St. exit, that has now been cleared.
