Solaris gives the Phase Demon a try, first with Gravity Manipulation, then if that fails, with Force Manipulation, trying to pin it to the floor. Regardless of her success or failure, she mentions the results to Holt with a clipped, clear tone and reloads her rifle.
"What can hurt a Phase Demon, Holt?", Lisa asks, slinging her rifle and firing her Control the Void blasts in rapid succession. Maybe my Phase Pistol? Solaris thinks, yanking the weapon from it's magnetic clamp.
"Holt, what are the chances you can get us closer to our objective and just bypass this crap? One big push and I think we can break through. We don't need to fight everything, just get to the controls, right?"
Lisa looks to Metri, who seems to be distracted. "Master Metri, your great skills are much needed!", she urges.
