Minerva and Mink peel up together with Minerva taking the lead, though she doesn't spot any spiders. The pair make their way down the end of the darkening corridor together. They both note that the walls and floors are covered in a layer of silk that is impossible to avoid, yet all the spiders that were piling inside the area are nowhere to be seen until they arrive at the bashed in steel door.
Arvid doubles back and creates a phantom footman that follows him around. The Phantom nods in acknowledgement scours the back room, finding no secret panels or access hatches. The pair retrieve the empty container, one is still full with the suit that Jack didn't put on and no one else claimed. The Phantom is ready to grab the armor, or move the container around as necessary.
Vera, back with Ecks asks a specific question relating to the energy source potentially attracting the spiders as Minerva and Mink creep inside the opened hatch. It puts them on a catwalk leading down into the earth with obvious mining equipment scattered around. There are several different holes dug and perhaps the most amazing view of all is the ceiling of the cavern. A long line of bluish green runs across the ceiling north to south, with a lot of branches in varying directions; anyone inside the room that can sense magic feels the potency of it [Act as if On a Ley Line]. Further down, they hear a generator running, though can't see it. There is silk everywhere.

Sam Beckett
Being underground is no place for humans, let alone humans who pilot robots. Sam was beginning to question every decision she had made that led her to being underground for several days now. Fearless, and rightly so, she continues on, following the energy source she began picking up a few hours ago. Sam still hasn't found any inclination of what she's looking for, but has confirmed that there is a Ley Line running through the ground here, possibly even a Nexus at the forest center; that's the best bet.
But first, the energy source, which definitely seemed to be several miles short of the center, but worth investigating. Sam makes her way down and squeezes through a tighter area before finding strung up old and dead lights; signs of human activity down here, even old, is more than she's seen in the past two days. Following the power line, she runs into metal stairs leading to a grated walkway and a trolly system. Pausing, she stares down the pathway and hears "tck-tck-tck", the sound of thudded points impacting the metal rapidly, skittering around. Sam hasn't seen any other signs of natural cave dwellers either, but she's been careful.
As Sam investigates further into the source, she can see a humming generator that is layered in silk with a dozen or more spiders crawling around it. The generator is impossible to see due to the silk, but it is connected to a larger machine that is imbedded into the ground and ceiling, specifically where the Ley Line is.
